Below are the PVO committees and what areas are needed. Any committee that shows a Member, Co-Chair, or Chair field is an area of need. Please use the contact form or print the form below to let us know what committee you would like to learn more about or join.
Fundraising/Functions: ______Member
Develop and organize events for TMSA students that help to motivate, encourage, and promote school spirit and a sense of community.
Organize fund raising efforts when needed or requested for special programs.
Organize and maintain retail paybacks for schools (Box Tops, Target, Harris Teeter, etc.)
Organize and oversee Used Uniform Sales, Spirit shirts sales, etc.
Seek out and develop community partnership with local businesses and organizations.

Provide support to teachers and staff through activities such as luncheons, special treats and other acts of
recognition
Provide refreshments for special events as requested

Research grant opportunities appropriate for TMSA and proceed with writing and submitting the grant
proposals

Create materials and utilize social media such as Facebook to announce upcoming events and programs to the
TMSA community
Communicate accomplishments and topics of interest to the larger public
Organize materials to use in press releases and help secure photographers to record programs and events
Develop programs to promote membership, maintain membership, database, and distribute membership
materials
Maintain volunteer database and match individuals with areas of interest
